Job vacancy Investment Core Technology Services Executive

• Support daily IT operations, including Systems, Daily Support, Infrastructure, Network, and Preventive Maintenance, to uphold system availability.
• Ensure efficient documentation, coordination, and communication among team members, end users, department users, project team members, and vendors.
• Implement proactive measures to achieve a system availability rate of 99.9%, integrating supported systems and interface systems in alignment with company/regulatory policies.
• Verify that the supported systems and their interface systems conform to the policies and guidelines established by the company and regulatory authorities.
• Fulfil project requirements and timelines while maintaining the availability/stability of existing operating systems, addressing changes/requirements from front, middle, and back office sectors within specified SLA timeframes.
• Collaborate with external vendors to deliver IT services, promptly addressing audit concerns, and executing system exercises according to company/regulatory directives.
• Adhere to Change Management processes, actively engaging in project and change implementation, and ensuring comprehensive compliance with BNM GPIS, Bursa Malaysia, Maybank Group IT, and Maybank Investment Bank IT frameworks, guidelines, procedures, and policies.

The Successful Applicant

Education and Experience:

• Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the related field, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft SQL Database and SQL scripting.

Technical Skills:

• Exhibits a robust understanding of Microsoft SQL, Windows, RHEL, Apache, and Java Spring Boot framework.
• Shows proficiency in software development, network, and infrastructure.
• Has experience in project and change implementation, as well as application and infrastructure support and maintenance.
• Knowledge in stockbroking business and mobile applications is considered advantageous.

Competencies:

• Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft SQL Database, SQL scripting, and the .NET framework.
• Shows a strong command of Linux, particularly RHEL, Apache, and Spring Boot framework.
• Possesses knowledge in Windows server and MS clustering, which are additional assets.
• Capable of handling and assisting in back office application support and user administration.
• Establishes accountability and a commitment to achieving results, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Displays strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Exhibits a high degree of initiative, capable of working independently with minimal/moderate supervision and embracing challenges.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing effective interaction and collaboration with operations/business users, project teams, and vendors.
• Demonstrates proficiency in written and spoken English communication.
