  • Financial Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
    • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and closing activities.


  • Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
    • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Coordinate with various business units to gather financial data and ensure accurate and timely consolidation.
    • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements and other relevant regulations.


  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to set financial targets and monitor performance.
    • Prepare regular forecasts to anticipate financial outcomes and support strategic planning.
    • Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing explanations and recommendations.


  • Strategic Financial Planning:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and business plans.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency.
    • Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.


  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
    • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
    • Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary tools and skills to perform their duties effectively.


  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
    • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • The Successful Applicant
    • Degree in Finance & Accounting, or a related field; or MIA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA preferred.
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a focus on operations and consolidation within a PLC will be advantage
    • Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and experience with financial reporting and consolidation.
    • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
    • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office and preferably advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
