  • Demonstrate expertise in analyzing compensation, including conducting competitive pay assessments, designing salary structures, performing Position in Range (PIR) analyses, evaluating financial impacts, and tracking trends in merit increases and salary structure movements.
  • Lead the management and execution of annual incentive plans and sales incentive programs.
  • Ensure accurate and equitable job grading across the APAC region, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align job structures with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR business partners, offering consultation and innovative solutions to address compensation challenges.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies, programs, and procedures for competitive employee compensation and benefits.
  • Manage project timelines for various initiatives such as annual compensation reviews, incentive processing, pay program designs, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Implement new programs to enhance employee rewards.
  • Support enhancements to the Workday compensation system, ensuring accuracy for AIP planning, merit plans, and equity plans through rigorous audit processes.
  • Generate reports to assess the effectiveness of our pay programs relative to market benchmarks and company objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis across the APAC region to anticipate future compensation and benefits trends and challenges.
  • Collaborate with benefits providers and brokers to negotiate and maintain robust benefit plans, ensuring alignment with local regulations and best practices.
  • Transfer knowledge and deliverables to business partners, facilitating understanding of compensation processes.
  • Provide support for annual renewals of insured benefits like life and medical coverage within the APAC region.
  • Collect and validate external market data to inform compensation and benefits decisions. Implement activities based on analysis findings.
  • Develop regional communications to facilitate change management for compensation and benefits initiatives.
  • Create and deliver training and communication materials to educate employees and managers about total rewards offerings.
  • Work closely with Total Rewards Shared Service teams to support Centers of Excellence (CoE).
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to global and regional policies. Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Should possess 5-7 years of multinational experience in compensation and benefits, preferably within the APAC region.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable about local regulations and market practices pertaining to compensation and benefits in the region.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Basic project management abilities and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferably certified in compensation (e.g., CCP) with experience in job evaluation methodologies; familiarity with Mercer IPE methodology is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the regions is beneficial.
