Project Manager (HR Payroll Integration)
Responsibility:
• Delivers strategic global/regional payroll integration projects within Asia Pacific Payroll Services team. Plan, create budget estimates, execute and monitor progress of the projects.
• Drives and is accountable for successful Payroll Integration between WorkDay and multiple payroll service providers in the region to ensure smooth payroll delivery on-time, in budget, quality and within agreed timeline.
• Leads the alignment of country scope, assessing country-specific requirements and support execution of the project activities and completion of deliverables
• Leads in gathering the existing payroll landscape (compensation elements and benefit plans) and conducts as-is analysis in coordination with the payroll and service provider team.
• Reviews the existing processes and redefines them post the WorkDay integration looking at process synergies, automation and envisioning the new operating model.
• Leads the discussion on identifying stranded data for each country and work with relevant team to define practical solution post integration.
• Works closely with global IT teams on both client and Service Provider in providing functional requirement clarification and actively participating in UAT.
• Works with Project Managers, Business Owners, Service Owners, Managed Vendor Partners, Operations teams and 3rd parties to ensure that integration deliverables of the projects are aligned and delivered.
• Coordinate activities necessary to accomplish the expected outcomes of multiple simultaneous country projects as assigned
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders
• Collaborates with Global Payroll Team
• Support the APAC Payroll Team in ensuring effective service delivery, to ensure continuous improvement, being up to date on legislation, on new technologies, or on best practices applied
Requirements:
• Project Management experience with focus on design, facilitating development, testing and delivery.
• Ability and/or experience to work independently as well as in a team environment through collaboration and consultation skills while working with individuals from all backgrounds and organizational levels and across functional areas.
• You have experience with major Payroll and ERP systems required (e.g., Workday, Service Now).
• Ability to facilitate sophisticated and technical discussions.
• 10+ years of experience in HR domains (preferably Payroll) and intermediate experience in HR IT projects
