Les Copaque Production

Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. (LCP) was founded in December 2005 with the mission of leading Malaysia's animation industry and providing local graduates with opportunities to show off their talents. They specialize in producing high-quality 3D animation with a local flavor that appeals to a global audience. When LCP was first established, Managing Director Haji Burhanuddin and his wife Hajah Ainon chose to create a story that would connect to people of all ages and backgrounds. Meanwhile, the animation department was eager to demonstrate their technical skills. After months of deliberation, they decided to create an adventure story with a Malaysian 'Kampung' setting. As a result, Les Copaque's first project, "Geng Pengembaraan Bermula", was launched in a ceremony on 11 September 2007,

Haji Burhanuddin had the idea to produce a short animated series to test the Malaysian population's acceptance of 3D animation before releasing "Geng Pengembaraan Bermula". As the majority of Malaysians are Muslim, he devised a plan to tell a story about fasting during the month of Ramadan.
