Responsibilities:


Audio and Video Production:

  • Communicate with clients to plan and schedule recording sessions, discussing equipment needs and techniques.
  • Set up and prepare audio and video recording equipment, including microphones, video cameras, lighting, and playback devices.
  • Operate a variety of equipment to capture high-quality audio and video.
  • Edit audio and video files, including mixing tracks, trimming footage, and integrating graphics and text.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during recording sessions.
  • Maintain an inventory of audio and video equipment and supplies to ensure all items are in working condition.

Studio and Content Management:

  • Manage bookings for studio spaces from both internal and external clients.
  • Assist in the development and management of AV Production Services.
  • Oversee the school’s video library, including archiving, indexing, and sorting videos.
  • Coordinate the distribution of videos to users and clients, supporting course video distribution on the e-Learning platform.

Live Streaming and Broadcasting:

  • Ensure connectivity from on-site AV systems to streaming platforms.
  • Schedule and manage live streams, maintaining high audio and video quality.
  • Operate and switch camera, audio, and video feeds during live broadcasts.
  • Coordinate live multi-camera productions as required.

Graphics and Instructional Design:

  • Design and animate graphics for video productions using Adobe After Effects.
  • Collaborate with Academic Innovation and Marketing team to develop engaging instructional and marketing content.
  • Utilize multimedia tools to create dynamic learning content such as videos, simulations, and podcasts.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and online education.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering, Creative Multimedia, Digital Media Technology, Video and Film, Instructional Design, or related fields.
  • Portfolio or showreel that demonstrates previous work.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in audio and video recording, editing, and broadcast studio operations, preferably in an academic and corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop), Logic Pro, OBS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of video broadcasting and live streaming technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative with a continuous learning spirit and high proficiency in various multimedia technologies.
  • Experience with educational technology platforms like Open edX, Moodle, and Yuja is a plus.
  • Familiarity with green screen video production and video camera equipment.
