• Database Installation and Configuration:
  • Install and configure Oracle database software.
  • Set up database instances, configure database parameters, and manage database storage.
• Database Maintenance and Monitoring:
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, patching, and upgrades.
  • Monitor database performance and tune the system for optimal performance.
  • Implement and manage database security measures.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization:
  • Analyze and resolve database performance issues.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Database Security:
  • Implement and enforce database security policies.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on database performance, health, and usage.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Work with development and support teams to resolve database-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
  • Experience with Oracle versions 11g, 12c, and 19c.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle architecture and database concepts.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other database management tools.
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools such as RMAN.
  • Experience with cloud databases and services (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python)
